After watching the shark videos! Wow. Has that every opened my eyes. I' cant believe all that goes on behind closed doors. The fact that the oceans population of sharks is completely decreasing everyday at such a high rate is scary! Shark fin soup is a disgrace, I don't see the point of it at all. I really hope society smartens up and faces the fact that we need need sharks to survive, we cant be scared of them anymore. they deserve to be on this earth as much as anyone else.

The second charity I would give 10'000 dollars to is the SPCA. I love animals and dogs and have always wanted to adopt one but my moms allergic. I really want to help the animals and save as many as i can! I think animal cruelty is terrbile and i hate it.

My last charity is the RED aids organization. I think Aids is very important because it is a top killer in the world. It something that really need to find a cure before its too late. People need to be educated about it and learn how to be safe.

Climb Mount Everest

I would like to climb mount Everest. I am deathly afraid of heights and of high risk situations.This would be the perfect situation to push my boundaries to the limit. I am not an adventurous girl and i never have been. I am not a fan of the outdoors whatsoever. Because of that, i miss out on the joys of nature because im so sacred. I would love to conquer my fear and this would be a big way of showing it. If i could do this i would literally be able to do anything! So if i had all the money in the world and i was super fearless, i would climb mount Everest.

I choose Beyonce because she is consistently making great music for over 10 years and is a master at her craft. She is beautiful, strong, a diva, but so generous which is a rare combination. She is now 30, and she started when she was 16. That is almost 15 years in the business and she stays resilient. She's expanded to become a movie star as well and she is fantastic at it. She takes the high road with the media and paparazzi  and continues to stay humble. I believe she is the most amazing artist in the world. So she will always inspire me to reach my goals and follow my dreams.

FEB 3 2012

1. It was confirmed that i will be taking the early bus to school everyday, therefore i will no longer be late for class.
2. The word of the day is chill, because it's Friday, so it's almost the weekend so i have no stress.
3. How extremely hard math 11.
4. I will need to study extra hard to get a high mark.
5. That most goals in life are a result of hard work.
6. A question I am left with is what sacrifices will I have to make to reach that goal?

FEB 20 2012

1. It was confirmed for me today that i will not be attending the Alonzo King dance field trip because i will be working.
2. The word of the day is diet, i feel that i need to be on one after eating all this valentines candy.
3. I learned that i am really bad at writing essays on the spot.
4. I am going to work on remaining calm and tackling the essay in increments instead of all at once.
5. That most difficult situations are better to be solved slowly rather then trying to figure everything out at the same time, only making it more complicated.
6. A question i am left with is that i am wondering how difficult this diet is gonna be.

MARCH 15 2012

1. It was confirmed to me that i need t start focusing more on myself.
2. Breathe. Because no point in stressing on things, that doesn't help.
3. What surprised me today is that I'm very behind in all my classes.
4. Everyday after school i will need to take all my books home and study each.
5. That sometimes you need time to yourself to prioritize your life and make the best choices.

APRIL 3 2012

1. It was confirmed for me today the dance shows will now be on 1 day. 
2. Because of that, i have much added stress about my dance.
3. It surprised me how fast  this year is going by now that we are at the last dance show.
4. Gotta work harder at getting my stuff ready to for the show.

Moment In a Box

     If I were to die today, the one moment I would take with me would be the drive from the airport to my Grammy and Grampy’s house in Tennessee. The reasons being is, that we only take that drive once every two years so  there is so much excitement and joy in that car ride. It is usually in the late hours of the night so were are so tired but our joy quickly takes over and gives us an extra shot of energy. I love the state of Tennessee so looking out the window to see the beautiful mountains and scenery as we pass by is breath taking. The smell and warmth of the air is so inviting it just instantly makes you happy. We blast music all the way through the hour drive and talk and laugh and catch up with the relative that drives us. Our anticipation only increases as we reach that drive through and the famous gravel road leading up the the small rancher that always looks the same brings me so much joy. I always have the beat time when I’m there and I know that every time which is why I cherish the drive to there house, because I know that the next time I go to the airport, it will be the sad, tearful drive back.

Inspirational Movies

GHANDI (1982)

This movie is based around the life of Mohandas Ghandi. A man who led a non-violent resistance against British colonial rule in India, in the early 20th century. This movie is so powerful to me because it shows how much change can happen when just one man is standing for what is right.

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD (1962)
A heroic father defends an African-American man in court, at a time when racial segregation was at a all time high. He must learn to take the high road and protect his children from prejuiduce in there smalltown. This movie is one of the only ones of its kind in that era and has become one of the greatest books ever written. It teaches so many lessons that are still relevant today, which is why it will be a educational and inspirational movie to watch.

PAY IT FORWARD (2000)
This movie is about a simple minded boy whose only hope is to bring change to the world. He does so by doing little acts of kindness to strangers and wishes them to pay it forward to someone else, in hopes of spreading love and forgiveness in his small town. This movie is so important because it shows how doing a nice, simple deeed for a stranger has the biggest chain reactions.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (1946)
A struggling family man  finds himself in the middle of a financial trouble after leaving responsibility in the wrong hands. After buliding his life out of nothing and becoming a hometown hero for his community, he questions "why me?" and wishes he was never born. He gets his wish and sees what life would be like without him, not only for his family, but for his town. He quickly learns that family is the most important value of all and karma will come back to you.

PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS (2006)
A family of 3 is cut to two, after the mother leaves due to the fathers failing of upkeep to the family. In his sons's eyes he is nothing but a hero and he intends to stay that way when he embarks on a job interview that will make or break him. He risks everything, even his house to get that job, and continues on to become a intelligent,wealthy,successfull man. This movie shows that hard work pays off and never to give up.
